Introduction and general terminology, Classification of Attacks, Cyber Threats, Vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, Human Issues, Basic security components, Phishing and social engineering, Introduction to Linux, Basic Security Testing with Linux, Introduction to Red Team Tools, Reconnaissance attempts, Initial Access, Persistence, Application security, Command Injections, Memory Injections, Script Injection, Secure software development lifecycle, Threat Modeling
Course Learning Outcomes:

Course Objective
Be able to design, develop, test and evaluate secure software and code.
Be able to analyze security issues in networks and computer systems to secure an IT infrastructure.
Be able to evaluate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, programming best practices, and security issues in websites and APIs.
Be able to understand fundamentals of penetration testing.
Be able to communicate security findings, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
